FILM: DOUBLE FEATURE - BLOODPATHS & ORPHEUS

A poetic rumination on the notion of identity, bloodpaths fuses contemporary dance with new music in celebration of the multicultural diversity of the Australian arts scene. Writing to the brief of "create a short work that resonates with ones cultural heritage", musical narratives sit in dialogue with Katina Olsen's Wakka Wakka / Kombumerri choreographic stories.

Featuring works by Alex Pozniak, Cat Hope, Benjamin Marks, Damien Ricketson, Jodie Rottle, Lachlan Skipworth, Jasmin Leung and Austin Buckett.

Captivating imagery and vivid new music combine in a bold retelling of the story of Orpheus and his journeying through the underworld. Themes of love, loss, fate and redemption, are woven into a hypnotic visual and sonic tapestry.
